Help Likes4Lives end the stigma that prevents people from talking about suicide. Sometimes, a caring conversation is all it takes to give someone the strength they need to carry on. Yet it’s hard for many people to reach out for help when they need it. That’s why it’s so important to let people know that you’re comfortable talking about mental health. By pledging to be a safe person to talk to in times of distress, you can make a difference.

Pledge to be there when someone needs to talk. Pledge to be open, honest, and free of judgment. Pledge to inspire others to do the same.

Let people know you’re not afraid to have a real conversation. Like the Likes4Lives Facebook page. Share a story on Facebook. Share your pledge on Facebook. Follow Likes4Lives on Twitter. Follow Likes4Lives on Instagram.

You may even save a life.

I pledge that I will:

  • tell someone if I am struggling and need help;
  • reach out to someone of I am worried about them;
  • listen to someone, without judgment, if they need someone to talk to;
  • ask someone, directly, if I think they are trying to tell me about suicide;
  • help someone get support if they are struggling and/or thinking about suicide.
  • Take the Pledge
  • Complete the form here to take the pledge.
